Beam me up Scotty

A 3d printer to print food http://www.universetoday.com/102328/nasa-looks-at-3-d-food-printer-for-star-trek-like-replicator/ but this got me thinking. How about printing you somewhere else? You get destroyed in the “scanning” process, there can’t be two of you at the same time, your info get emailed to Putsonderwater and you walk out of the printer. No more traveling, sounds good to me. Now, to scan and print the soul might be difficult.

This could hold the key to getting back at printer manufacturers who charge a fortune for ink cartridges.

Jeff Goldblum tried it, but as I recall the process was somewhat finicky and wouldn’t fly without side effects.

Jeff should’ve asked Patrick Stewart. He knows exactly how to do it.

Well, either that or his entire crew are now without a soul.

But then if their souls are missing, he could always use his brain-machine to find them.
