Effect of ozone and hydrogen peroxide on the body

The following passage sounds a bit hokey to me - but I don’t know enough about it to put my finger on why. Anybody know anything about O3 and H2O2 and its effect on the human body?

The simplest substances available for restoring one's oxygen balance to a healthy range are ozone (O3), and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), which is much easier to obtain and use. These are both highly toxic when concentrated, but when diluted to therapeutic levels they are not only non-toxic but uniquely beneficial. When the body is toxic, waste products exceed the cleansing capacity of the body and the blood ends up having to stash them wherever possible. These toxins literally take up so much room in the blood cells that the cells can't take on enough oxygen when they pass through the lungs. Hydrogen peroxide is the only germicidal agent composed only of water and oxygen. Oxygen can be taken internally, in the form of hydrogen peroxide, which is merely water with one additional atom of oxygen attached to the molecule. Water is H2O hydrogen peroxide is H2O2. Hydrogen peroxide exists in rain and snow. It is also manufactured in the photosynthesis process. When we eat raw food, we get it into our system. It came from the ozone layer. When free oxygen splits into single atoms, the new atom combines with a molecule of O2 (diatomic oxygen) and becomes O3 (ozone), and O3, when it comes in contact with water, gives up its extra atom of oxygen, which is not bonded very tightly, and connects up with water to give you H2O2. By just shaking a bottle of water vigorously for a while, you can add enough extra oxygen into it to form detectable amounts of H2O2 improving its purity, flavor, and vitality.

Ozone is a strong oxidising agent. Inhaling it is not recommended even in relatively low dilutions because it irritates mucous membranes of the nose and throat:

Hydrogen peroxide is also an oxidant. Its common uses on people are as a disinfectant for open wounds and as a bleaching agent. Drinking high concentrations of it is not a good idea because it’ll irritate the oesophagus.

The cited passage is the usual pseudoscientific hocus-pocus we have become accustomed to hearing from people who have a miracle cure to sell. One should note that if “waste products exceed the cleansing capacity of the body,” only one thing can happen: you die. Simple as that.

Also, this idea of toxins “taking up space in the blood” is largely bogus because they don’t affect the haemoglobin’s capacity for oxygen uptake. Hydrogen peroxide may be “composed only of water and oxygen” (actually, it’s hydrogen and oxygen, but let’s not quibble), but hydrogen cyanide is composed of carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen, each of which elements is innocuous to the human body in its pure form, yet combine them as HCN like the Nazis did and you can start exterminating people quickly and cheaply.

Next, the blood (and cells) can only be oxygenated by inhaling (dilute) oxygen, not by drinking hydrogen peroxide or oxygenated water.

[Hydrogen peroxide] came from the ozone layer.
The chemistry described here is distinctly hokey. As for shaking a bottle vigorously will aerate or oxygenate the water, which is different from producing hydrogen peroxide.

If this is from a blurb for some special treatment like a pill or something you put into water, it’s nonsense. At best, you’ll have an expensive burp.

Hmm, that’s what I thought. Thanks for clearing it up
