I was switching channels on DSTV last night to set the autotune for Carte Blanche at 7pm and happened to switch during the Power of 10. Just after exiting from the menu the following question was asked and below that was the answer.
The question was - “What percentage of South Africans said their religious beliefs play an important role in their daily decision making?”

Initially, I thought “Holy ^$#%!” :o the number of people that either consult ancient texts for advice, or chant “Ooga booga, ooga booga” to imaginary sky fairies for advice on what decisions to make in 21st Century South Africa is huge, although I guess I should have known better. But then looking at it again I realised that 44% of South Africans (Questioned for the show) did not use this form of irrational decision making in the daily lives!
