Lazy programmers must think the internets will NEVER figure that one out. :-\
It’s easy to fake votes. Clearing cookies is the easiest way, or just vote from different browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera all have different cookie systems). Even requiring registration with a valid email account is only inconvenient, email is free these days.
There’s no foolproof internet voting system, but they work with what they have.
