Atheist Apocalypse

Kicking in the heads of atheists one at a time…

PZ, I thought the Morris Police Department was going to save you from the wrath of God…

As I’ve discussed in another thread… Isn’t telling the future explicitly prohibited in the bible?

King James Bible:

Deuteronomy 18:10,14

10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

13Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

14For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

Leviticus 19:26

26'Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. 'Do not practice divination or sorcery.
Kill Fortunetellers
A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death. (Leviticus 20:27 NAB)</blockquote>

Didn’t Nostradamus then lived past his Ddate?

This appears to be the David Mabus.

Mabus is well known for harassing sceptical bloggers and prominent members of the sceptical community. Be advised that he’s impervious to reason, and engaging with him is likely an exercise in futility.

Brian Dunning (of skeptoid.com) has expressed concern at Mabus’ latest volley of attacks, and has forwarded Mabus’ latest set of comments on the Skeptoid forum to his local police, due to their threatening nature.

In other words, Mabus is one of the “crazies” we were referring to in another thread… best we keep a watchful eye on him.
