This is scary, in fact it is disgusting and disturbing! This is child abuse - pure and simple! In my opinion, these children have been mentally abused and their parents should be locked up for child abuse! Listening to the comments of the parents and adults surronding these children you just can’t help but laugh at the nonsense that comes out of thier mouths. The sad thing is is that they believe it and they help fuel the fire by supporting and encouraging the poor children.
Baby Bible Bashers (shouldn’t that be “Thumpers”? - but I suppose that it spoils the alliteration - oh well, rather be inconsistent than unpoetic) does reveal nothing short of child abuse. The documentary Jesus Camp describes wholesale child abuse.
There’s a heavily edited version of the documentary here (with occasional nauseating post-production video techniques added by the fan who uploaded the video - I’m not partial to it) but you can watch the whole original video starting here. Warning: it’s about an hour and a half long and with it being on YouTube, it will probably take you longer to watch it).
If you have the stomach for it, Randi’s SWIFT has a link to a video called “A Letter From Hell” which is featured on GodTube. The description clearly indicates that it was used at one such Jesus Camp in the past.
But the whole fabric of christian belief is founded on fear, not reason and evidence. The gist of the christian god’s so-called “love” is, “I swear, I love you. You can, of course, choose whether or not to return the compliment by worshipping and praying to me. I’ll be watching you, and I won’t necessarily give you that which you ask for. When you don’t get what you ask of me, you can take this as a sign that you don’t love me enough. But beware: if you choose not to love me or don’t love me enough, I’ll hand you over to Mr S down there in his fiery pit, who will torture you and burn you and roast you forever and ever and ever. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
Now, what kind of “love” is that, I ask you. And why is it that christians, at least the more fanatical ones, are always able, and usually keenly willing, too, to tell you in exquisite detail enormously more about hell and its agonies than they they’ll tell you about heaven and its supposed bliss?

lets say god and satan exist. What would you have god do, let all you atheists into heaven to make it as great as earth? Its simple, either heaven or hell, no inbetween! so he isnt threatening you, he’s simply saying, choose your destination mate…
Yes, let’s. Why would your god make satan and hell if s/he supposedly loves us so much?
I would have your god take a good, hard look at what s/he has made and explain why it’s all so cockamamie when s/he’s supposedly so powerful, so good and so knowledgeable. But that’s just me.
“Destinations” s/he herself decreed! It’s even simpler without your god. Then people can be good without half an eye fixed on some grand prize at the end.
