So this friend of mine says they saw that the child was gay when he was 2years.
He had girl character or body wise… and now he is 16yrs and as gay as they come.

Gays and Lesbians, are the devil’s work. God never created Adam and Steve and good point about Sodom and Gomorra. If you listen to the Ex Satan worshippers, they will tell you how one end up being gay or lesbian! Tell me guys do you think gays are God’s creation?
I am having a very polite disagreement with a friend of mine. She is trying to justify the gay case and says God made them like that.
I say He did not. Hence they mention in the Bible that one of the reasons God destroyed Sodom and Gomorra was because men were sleeping with each other.
Please can someone tell me what their opinion is?

And I have a secret resentment/hate for gays .

Religion is what is wrong with people.

And the fact that they are unable to think and form opinions for themselves, they are sheep, and will follow the Billy-goat into the gallows simply because they want to be led.

And this, dear friends, is the real difference between “us” and “them” - not atheism, nor liberalism, tolerance or the ever flaunted intelligence, just the short simple fact that we dont like to follow, that we tend to think and to form our own opinions and then have the odasity to actually live according to what WE think is good instead of following the mainstream thoughts and behaviours.

Can someone explain this fear / hatred of homosexuality?

I know it is in their holy goddamn books but I don’t understand why it is there in the first place. We all know no god or gods wrote or inspired these works so it had to be the leaders at the various times who sneaked that in. But why? Simply fear of that which is different? Is that really all?

Probably Cy, its the same if you’re an outspoken atheist, you are sidelined and not trusted, I just think its probably much worse for them though. My very first crush at high school turned out to be gay and we’re still friends to this day, on reflection of his life, there were so many instances that he was simply excluded and spoken ill of, that I shudder thinking about it. When I met my s/o, one of the first things I did was tell him about my friend and then introduce them, if there was ANY negativity towards him, I would have stopped the relationship immediately. I have immense empathy with the gay community, its not an easy life to live.

I can’t explain it but would suspect it has to do with man’s ??? herding instinct…those who don’t ‘fit’ in are excluded. It affects albino’s, people with disability etc and you see it in the animal world as well. (On our duck farm, the day-old chicks peck a chick to death if it has a different colour!) (wtf!!) Maybe Darwin is to blame! >:D

I’m guessing but I suspect it has much to do with institutionalised religions’ pervasively morbid dread that any of its followers might actually have sexual fun. The driving fear is that having sex just for the fun of it might draw followers away from their god-given duty to do so for the sole purpose of procreation in order to increase the size of the following. Homosexuality clearly thwarts that end. To this day, the Roman Catholic Church still presumes to prescribe not only about contraception, premarital sex and masturbation, but also about what constitutes proper sexual conduct in private between husbands and wives. In short, religions tend to view sex-for-pleasure as a significant rival to their own aims of controlling all aspects of people’s lives.

Also, religions seem to take our natural desires (not only sexual, but other things too, like a healthy self-esteem) and name them “sinful”. If they can keep people in a perpetual state of guilt, they can also keep them in a constant need for “forgiveness” and “repentance” and all the other ridiculous stuff religion needs to propagate in order to stay alive.

having a same-sex lover was nothing strange in civilized nations, greece. etc.
but the church made it sinfull.
and i think, so many people feel that desire towards a same sex, either in general, or one particular point. or find a good looking body attractive. but because the church says its sin, they fight against it so hard. so they become hatefull of that which they cant have.
we all know, its the biggest homophobes who are the biggest closet-cases.
many many straight, married men, frequent male prostitutes. fact.
they have a desire to be with a man, but the church and society says, they should be with a woman, and have babies.
couples who choose not to have kids, are allso ostracised, because god said, go forth and be fruitfull.
