As far as this kid goes, he was just plain lucky. As for the “miracle”, it’s pure statistics. Given the number of kids that fall off balconies (You can Google it), and the fact that buildings sometimes have awnings etc. - odds are at some stage a kid is going to fall out the window and land on one.
