Fantastic!

Erm, is that email address valid?

It bounces back with a “No such user here” message when trying to send a message!

really? that sucks. try [email protected]

Is “upfront” a real word?

In which order did the Star Wars movies come out? I have 5 of them, and we watched episode 1 (can’t remember the name), but it wasn’t the first one that came out when I was young(er). In which order should they be viewed?

Apparently yes, although my OED doesn’t list it at all. It’s safe to say that the word’s either an Americanism or a neologism, possibly both.

[ol]- 1977 — A New Hope (Episode IV)

  • 1980 — The Empire Strikes Back (Episode V)
  • 1983 — Return of the Jedi (Episode VI)
  • 1999 — The Phantom Menace (Episode I)
  • 2002 — Attack of the Clones (Episode II)
  • 2005 — Revenge of the Sith (Episode III)[/ol]

See here.

BTW last year I went to see Star Wars the musical in Cowboys Stadium.
They had a full orchestra playing the various music from all of the films, and played remastered video cuts from all of the movies to the music, and hosted by Anthony Daniels (C-3PO in both trilogies).
The video screen in Cowboys Stadium was (at the time, I think a NASCAR track somewhere built a bigger one) had the largest high definition screen in the world, and that was awesome. I’ve said to people that I would have paid the ticket price just to watch the original trilogy on that screen.
