I’m dying for some cutesy/controversial tshirts to wear in public and elicit stares.
over the oceans, those are aplenty, but since our rand is rather dismal against the dollar…
why dont we make our own?
i mean, one gets the printable iron-on transfers. if it’s one colour, then you can do fairly cheap silk screen print, but it will have to be bigger sizes.
i can slap a design together no sweat, or we can pinch a design off a site, and i can just redraw it.
mebbeh we can even make some bucks along the way.
I’m in the process of making T Shirts and will let you know once they’re ready. Sourcing good quality shirts at reasonable prices has been a nightmare - I don’t want shirts that will fall apart after the first wash. I have now found a source and now it’s just a case of making the transfers/ screen prints.I’m trying to keep the shirt costs as low as possible so that I can sell them at good prices.
I have a very good list of Atheist sayings too.
I’ll let you know as soon as they’re available - not too long now

I want a T that says, “Friendly neighbourhood atheist” and one that says, “Imagine no religion”. These two shirts I REALLY want and would pay good money to own (hint @ mdg :)).
sorry mdg, ‘sinner’ implies you believe in sins…I don’t as it has a religious connotation. Sins only exist in the minds of the religious…and the Original Sin man was punished for was the capacity to think (according to the Bible) (wtf!!)

I know that Brian, but I’ve been told that because I’m an atheist I am therefore a sinner and am hellbound - not that I mind, I’d rather chill in hell with all the cool people than suffer in heaven with all those pious people. Besides anyone who is not christian (or any other religion) is considered a sinner.
Also, we Pastafarians do believe in heaven and hell…
Reminds me of a time when I was accosted by an e-meter wielding scientologist wanting to check my reading, I told him, no thanks, I am your friendly neighbourhood atheist. At least he laughed, do that to a christian and you might get stoned.
I’ve seen other t-shirts with the msg: I like jesus, but he loves me. Kinda awkward.

And we can put our web address on the back - bit of advertising won’t hurt. And even get some kind of upgrade to our site to include a “shop” section where these can be bought online and give some added financial support to the admin team. This could really work.
